ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will undertake a two-day official visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from February 10-11 to participate in the World Governments Summit (WGS) in Dubai.

Invited by UAE Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the premier will join global leaders, policymakers, and business figures to discuss governance, innovation, and international cooperation.

This marks PM Shehbaz Sharif’s second visit to the UAE since assuming office in March 2024. Accompanied by a high-level delegation, including Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, the visit reflects Pakistan’s commitment to deepening ties with the UAE and global partners.

During the summit, the prime minister will deliver a keynote address outlining Pakistan’s vision for inclusive economic growth, digital transformation, and governance reforms. He will also engage in bilateral talks with UAE leadership, meet visiting Heads of State, and interact with top CEOs of multinational corporations.

Pakistan and the UAE share a historically strong relationship based on mutual trust and cooperation across various sectors. The UAE remains a key economic and strategic partner, while the Pakistani expatriate community—the second largest globally—continues to serve as a vital link between the two nations.

This visit underscores Pakistan’s dedication to strengthening economic collaboration and exploring new opportunities for mutual prosperity.
